Thank you for being a subscriber and for going to our concerts!
We are making a recording of the Vivaldi Four Seasons for an educational CD for children. In support of this project, we will perform this wonderful piece in two special benefit concerts in Wayne, Illinois and Griffith, Indiana. Steve Robinson of WFMT fame will narrate the special poetry that Vivaldi himself wrote and the solo violin will be performed by Amelia Piscitelli, our amazing young virtuoso from Indiana.
July 14 Wayne: Lawn tickets for the concert are just $25 but you can also purchase gala dinner tickets with assigned seating.
We are looking forward to seeing you at one of these concerts!
VIVALDI FOUR SEASONS BENEFIT CONCERTS
AMELIA PISCITELLI & CAMERATA CHICAGO ORCHESTRA
7:30 p.m. Friday July 13, 2018 Griffith Lutheran Church, GRIFFITH
Enjoy a fabulous performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons by sixteen year old violin prodigy Amelia Piscitelli with poetry read by Steve Robinson of WFMT fame. Amelia was featured on the 98.7WFMT Introductions radio show and had her debut with Camerata Chicago in Fall 2016. These concerts are in support of Camerata Chicago's Vivaldi Four Seasons Educational Recording Project - Joyce Saxon is the Principal Project Sponsor. Including the poetry written by Vivaldi himself, the recording is for a CD designed especially for children to learn this classic and be inspired in the riches of classical music. Vivaldi wrote many sound effects in the Four Seasons - such as thunder, lightening, dogs in the hunt and other seasonal phenomena. Camerata Chicago will demonstrate many of them in a special section before the main performance.
Griffith: We take the Vivaldi Four Seasons to Indiana, Griffith Lutheran Church, for a benefit concert in support of the recording project.
